The Thai Food Processors’ Association was established with the following key objectives: 1. To promote and to develop the establishments and processed foods 2. To provide the highest quality of scientific assistance and programs in support of member needs. 3. To serve as a communication link between members and government agencies. 4. To represent as a speaker for the collective problems and obstacles in food processing industry. The membership is classified into 2 categories as follows:
Processors' Group
Any enterprise actively and regularly engaged in manufacturing of canned food is qualified as a processor. This group is divided into 5 different product categories namely : fruits and vegetables processors’ group, pineapple processors’ group, tuna and seafood processors’ group, sweet corn processors’ group and food ingredients & ready – to – eat processors’ group
Traders' Group
Any enterprise and regularly only engaged in distribution of canned food is qualified as a trader.
